It needs an EL Inverter/Converter/Driver (power supply) to run the Tron Costume EL Hoops. It is an easy system that consists of 2 elements, Tron Costume EL Hoops(with lead wire and connector), and EL Inverter/Converter/Driver(power supply).

Accessory-Inverter: All EL products needs an Inverter/Driver to power it. These inverters start with 3Volts (for a 2 *AA battery inverter), 5V Volts, 6V Volts(4*AAA),12Volts or 110~240Volts power supply and then transfer the voltage around 100Volts and frenquency around 1500HZ that makes the Electro-Luminescent Phosphor in the wire glow brightly.
